CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Due to COVID-19, Campbellsville University has adjusted her Homecoming celebration activities, including the Homecoming parade. Anyone can join in the parade and there is no entry fee.
For those who want to enter, they must take a video of themselves driving or walking from left to right. To submit the video visit Campbellsville University's web-page at https://bit.ly/3l5JEnz and click on video submission under Play, Paws, Rewind Parade.
Campus groups like the Tiger Marching Band will also have clips included in the parade video.
Trent Creason, director of student activities, said there will be a few other ways the university will plug student groups into the parade as well.
“We are asking alumni to send us a short clip of them,” Creason said, “and we will piece these different clips together to produce a parade that will be posted on the website and the CU App.”
The parade will be aired Saturday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. on the Campbellsville University Facebook page.
