Paid Internship

Each summer, the Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts (APA) offers seasonal and paid internships with our audit teams. Internship durations are flexible and travel to audit sites will be necessary. Positions are available in the Offices of State Government Audits and Technology, Local Government Audits, Special Examinations, and Quality Assurance.

Job Duties

Interns will work with APA audit staff to perform audit tests, analyze data, and provide support for more complex audit procedures. Interns may be involved in various assignments during the course of the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Kentucky college or university
• Either completed junior year or will complete junior year by start of internship
• On track to graduate with 20 semester hours or 30 quarter hours of accounting
