P-12 Education
If you have a passion to make a difference in the lives of students, find your calling in as a P-12 teacher. A degree in P-12 education at Campbellsville University will help you change the lives of students. The school of education trains candidates to teach art, health/physical education, music (instrumental or vocal), or special education. These degrees prepare candidates to teach students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
A bachelor's degree in P-12 education provides coursework, blended with clinical experiences
that prepare candidates to teach with confidence. P-12 degree coursework emphasizes
interdisciplinary content. Also, pre-service teachers learn about the art and science
of teaching, including classroom management, integration of technology, and skills
necessary to work with diverse students. A bachelor's degree in P-12 culminates in
a full semester of student teaching where candidates practice their new skills and
learning.
P-12 art, music, and health/PE courses are offered on main campus. P-12 special education courses are offered on main campus and online.
