Arrival
Fall 2024- Plan to arrive on campus on August 16.
International Student Orientation (we call it CGE Compass) is scheduled for August 17, 2024.
*Athletes- Some athletes will arrive early for practice. If you are an athlete, contact your coach about your required arrival dates.
Airport Shuttle
CGE will be offering a shuttle from the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) to Campbellsville University’s Main Campus on August 16, 2024. Two different times will be offered for the airport shuttle: 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (U.S. Eastern Time).
If you would like to use the airport shuttle, you will need to make a reservation during the reservation period (July 1-July 31). Airport shuttle reservations cost $50, and seats will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All flights should arrive at least 1 hour before the scheduled shuttle time. The airport shuttle is for students only. Family members will need to make alternative transportation plans.
If you need to arrive the day before, we recommend that you stay at the Tru Hotel at the Louisville airport. Use the link below to book a room at the Tru Hotel for a discounted rate for one night (check-in August 15; check-out August 16). The deadline to book a room for the discounted rate is July 31, 2024. If you choose to book a room at this hotel, we will pick you up from the hotel on the morning of August 16.
Arriving on Campus
We have prepared a welcome for you when you arrive on campus.
All students on the shuttle will be taken to the Student Activity Center, where you will meet CGE staff and Resident Directors who will help you find your dorm and give you important orientation information.
Other Arrival Plans
We know that some students will not be able to take the airport shuttle on the day they arrive or they will prefer to make other plans. Please use these resources if you need to find a hotel in the area, rent a car, or take a taxi.

If you are arriving on your own or with family, please come to campus on August 16 at 10:30 AM or 6:30 PM for an easy and welcoming check-in experience. Additional details will be sent to your email.

Dorm Supplies
Fall Semester Arrivals
CU has partnered with Dormify to help you get the things you need. You have the option to order from Dormify and they will ship your things directly to CU!
If you are going to use this service, order no later than July 15. Visit the International Orientation page for more information.
