Campbellsville University employs Carpenter as new admissions counselor

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Katie Howlett Carpenter, a May graduate of Campbellsville University, has been employed as an admissions counselor, according to an announcement by Dr. Michael V. Carter, president.
Carpenter will be serving and recruiting from the Eastern Kentucky Region which includes counties, Bath, Bell, Boone, Bourbon, Boyd, Boyle, Bracken, Breathitt, Campbell, Carroll, Carter, Clark, Clay, Elliott, Estill, Fayette, Fleming, Floyd, Gallatin, Garrard, Grant, Greenup, Harlan, Harrison, Henry, Jackson,
Jessamine, Johnson, Kenton, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Lawrence, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Lewis,
Lincoln, Madison, Magoffin, Martin, Mason, McCreary, Menifee, Mercer, Montgomery,
Morgan, Nicholas, Owen, Owsley, Pendleton,
Perry, Pike, Powell, Pulaski, Robertson, Rockcastle, Rowan, Scott, Trimble, Whitley,
Wolfe and Woodford.
Carpenter was married June 6 to Ben Carpenter of Russellville, Ky., a senior at Campbellsville University. She graduated May 9 from CU with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics.
Carpenter said her employment at Campbellsville University was an easy decision.
“I loved being a part of the ‘Campbellsville family' and was not ready for it all to end!,” she said. ” I had been working in the admissions office for the last year as an intern, and I enjoyed being able to work in that type of environment.
“People really care about each other here! I graduated on May 9th, and two days later I got a call about the job! Things worked out perfectly!”
Carpenter is a 2005 graduate of Russellville High School and is the daughter of David and Linda Howlett of 346 Bellaire Drive, Auburn, Ky.
