Improvements to campus moving at a rapid pace

12/23/2009

While Campbellsville University students are on holiday break, improvements are being made on campus at a rapid pace. Trucks are bringing in equipment for lighting of the Tiger Baseball and Football fields. "Pardon Our Progress" signs designate areas behind the Student Activities Center (SAC) and inside the student's game room on the ground floor of that building where work is under way to update and expand. In the game room murals are being painted on the walls and new flooring is being installed. Outside the SAC, overlooking the Baseball and HIG fields, four lvels of landscaping are being put in place for the creative use of students. From there you can view the progress being made on the professional lighting installations which have resulted in some tracks on the football field. That won't be a problem for long, however, as turf is the next step in improvements. Exterior and interior changes at CU's Student Activities Center will offer improved creative spaces for students.
