CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University and Taylor County High School Concert Bands will perform in a joint concert, Thursday, March 1 at 7 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel, located on the campus of Campbellsville University at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
The event is free and open to the public.
Campbellsville University's Concert Band will perform under the direction of Jennifer L. Tinnell, director of bands/ instructor in music, and Dr. G. Scott Bersaglia, assistant director of bands/ assistant professor of music.
The CU Concert Band program includes: “Morning Alleluias” by Ron Nelson, “Yosemite Autumn” by Mark Camphouse, “Original Suite” by Gordon Jacob, and “Whip and Spur” by TS Allen and Ray Cramer.
Taylor County High School's Concert Band will perform under the direction of Stephen Bishop, director.
TCHS Concert Band program includes: “Suite Francaise” by Darius Milhaud, “The Bonsai Tree” by Julie Giroux, “Variations and Theme for Flute and Band” by Anne McGinty, and “Waltz No. 2” by Dimitri Shostakovich.
