CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — A Civil Rights Listening Tour is scheduled for Thursday, June 10 on the campus of Campbellsville University as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights.
The public is invited to attend the June 10 event in CU's Technology Training Center, room 203, at 409 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky., from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Listening Tour is meant to provide an opportunity for Kentuckians to learn about the work of the KHRC and share information to ensure that every person living, working or visiting the state has equal access to housing, employment, public accommodations and financial transactions.
“Campbellsville University is pleased to have the opportunity to host the Civil Rights Listening Tour session along with Greater Campbellsville United,” said John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president.
