We offer competitive pay for a part time position, and a church family you will truly enjoy.Below is the job description.Principle FunctionThe minister of music/worship director is responsible to the church for the development and promotion of a music program for a multi-generational congregation.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expect a minimum of, but not limited to, 15 hours per week to include attendance at Wednesday night band/praise team practice, as well as, Sunday morning service.
- Direct the planning, organizing, conducting, promoting, evaluating and expansion of all music programs, including choirs, vocal and/or instrumental soloists or ensembles, and the praise teams.
- Cooperate and coordinate with the church music committee to enlist leaders for the church music ministry including song leaders and accompanists.
- Coordinate the music program with the organizational calendar and emphasis of the church, such as Easter and Christmas programs.
- Shall report to the Pastor who is the operational supervisor for all paid staff of the church.
- Ready to worship and lead the Church with a passionate heart in musical worship every day.
