WPSD LOCAL6, the dominant NBC affiliate in the 84thh market has openings in our newsroom for web producers. One position is full-time with benefits. The other is part-time (24-28 hours). Digital producers manage content on our website, social media, digital newsletters, and other platforms.
We use Social News Desk, MGN Online Graphics, ENPS, the TownNews CMS, AP wire & AP Video, NBC & CNN feeds, CNN Newswire and state of the art WSI weather technology.
Web Producers manage our website, mobile APPs, and social media platforms. They work closely with newscast producers, reporters, and anchors. They also offer assistance and advice to other departments like Promotions, Creative Services and Sales.
College degree and some experience preferred. Qualified entry level candidates encouraged. The part-time position would work well for current students.
