Position: Unpaid Internship
Position Description:
Background
Dos Amigos Foods, LLC (the “Company”) desires to acquire an unpaid Intern (the “Student”) for a non-employment position. Both the Company and the Student understand the intern is not entitled to wages and there is no offer or guarantee of a job at the conclusion of the internship.
Functions
The Student’s responsibilities will be to perform tasks in the areas of business, accounting, finance, marketing, communication, public relations, media, technology and entrepreneurship.
Development
The Student shall be exposed to a business start-up and understand the components necessary for the Company’s success. These will include, but not limited to, the following:
1. Forms of corporate organization
2. Registering with state and Federal agencies
3. Business operating agreements
4. Value proposition
5. Industry analysis
6. Market research
7. Target markets
8. Product development
9. Operations
10. Risk mitigation
11. Marketing and sales
12. Accounting and finance
13. Business plan development
14. Business law
Requirements
The Student will have to sign a Confidentiality and Non-Compete Agreement. Access to computer, internet and printing capabilities will be needed. Also, the Student should be
Knowledgeable of, and with authorization to use Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Location
All tasks assigned will be completed at the Student’s residence or campus facilities. Student and Company meetings shall be at an agreed upon building on campus or as needed.
Communication
The Student and the Company shall correspond through email, telephone, texting and direct communication.
Term
The internship will begin on “start date” and commence on “end date”.
Academics
The preferable intern will be working toward a four-year degree in any of the following disciplines:
1. Business
2. Accounting
3. Finance
4. Marketing
5. Communications
6. Public Relations
7. Media
8. Technology
9. Entrepreneurship
