Northlake is a unique community consisting of more than 12,500 diverse residents that also includes a large daytime industrial/business workforce located in the near West suburbs of Chicago. The Department resides in a newer facility and includes its own dedicated Dispatch Center for the 36 sworn and 16 civilian employees. The Police Department is both nationally accredited (CALEA) and state accredited (ILEAP) ensuring it provides and maintains the highest standards of integrity, character, and professionalism.

Patrol Schedule:
6 days on/3 days off (rotation)
- Day Shift: 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM
