Multi-Platform Journalist
WPSD Local 6, the NBC affiliate in Paducah, KY and our affiliated newspapers are hiring Multi-Platform Journalists.
You will report and write for our newspapers, magazines, websites, television newscasts and social media.
As a storyteller, you know how to balance hard news reporting with the emotional stories of the people that make up our communities. You are a writer that enterprises your own stories. You look beyond the event in front of you and find the effects this event will have on the communities you write about. Your work will be creative, compelling, and relatable content that appears across our network of six newspapers in Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois, and NBC affiliate WPSD Local 6.

The ideal applicant will have an outstanding track record of creative hard news, feature, daily turns, long form, and live work. You’ve got a great eye and everything you create makes an emotional connection.

While we prefer two years of experience, we consider entry-level candidates who can show they’ve got what it takes. Full time spots are a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate to begin a career.
