Performs manual tasks and operates assorted equipment for the assigned department. Responsibilities include maintaining designated City grounds/property, buildings, and structures.
DUTIES: Operates riding and push lawn mowers, weed eats and trims grass at CrossWinds, Paul Walker, & Riverview Golf Courses; assists in general maintenance of the course.
REQUIREMENTS: General knowledge of the proper operation of equipment; a valid driver’s license and a good driving record; must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position. Age 16+.
STARTING SALARY: Pay Grade 30; $13.50/hour
WORK HOURS: 40 +hours/week; 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday – Friday; March – November; with some weekend and holiday work required.
