Independent Stave Company is hiring IT Support Staff personnel. In the IT Support Staff role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and data security systems. This includes maintaining and updating the internal IT structure, which includes the networks, servers, and security programs and systems. You will also be involved in averting any possible cyber-attacks for greater productivity as per company policies and procedures. The scope of work is a combination of in-person and remote support for a portion of our 16 domestic facilities and periodically remote support for other domestic facilities.
OVERVIEW OF THE FACILITY IT SUPPORT STAFF ROLE:
- Develop, nurture, and support a dependable IT infrastructure.
- Protect critical information, systems, and assets.
- Support a continuously improving IT strategy.
- An integral member of the IT team under the supervision of the IT Director
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FACILITY IT SUPPORT STAFF ROLE:
- End-User Support.
- Information Systems, Licensing, Deploy Apps, Driver, and Firmware.
- Printer, Scanner, Imaging, and Print Servers.
- Unified Communications, Room Systems, and Signage.
- Documentation, Training, Guides, and Processes.
- Cable Plant, Copper, Fiber Optics, Standards, Termination, and Testing.
- Datacenter Health, Alerts, Reports, Power, and Environmental.
- Enterprise Security, AV, EDR, Agents, MFA, VPN, and Filter.
- Domain Accounts, Azure, Exchange, and Credential Management.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE FACILITY IT SUPPORT STAFF ROLE:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.
- Familiarity with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File Server Security, and DFS.
- Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Exchange, and IIS.
- Familiarity with SAN, NAS, iSCSI, MPIO, and Synology storage technologies.
- Knowledge of network technologies, including VLANs, Subnets, CIDR, ACLs, and Routing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Teams, Edge, and OneDrive.
- Familiarity with Android, iOS, and Linux.
- Knowledge of IP Telephones, IP Cameras, IP Printers, Scanners, and Meeting Room Systems.
- Familiarity with Switches, Wireless Access Points, Wireless Bridges, and Ethernet cabling.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, coworkers, and management
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimum supervision
