| Position Description | |
| The main duty of the direct support professional is to help participants to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Depending on needs of each participant and the needs in each environment, the direct support professional provides assistance with living skills development, health maintenance and medication administration, personal care, and behavior development. The direct support professional’s assigned work site may be in a number of different settings including staffed home, home of participants, day program and locations in the community and duties required for the upkeep of that environment. | |
