Going to college and need a job with a schedule that complements your school schedule? Looking for a second job or just wanting to get your foot in the door to a media career? WPSD-TV has an immediate opening for part-time Studio Operator.
Intrigued? Here is what you’ll be doing:
Prepare studio and act as Floor Director for live newscasts and recording sessions. Train for Master Control operation to monitor programming, run automation software, ingest programming and commercials and fill out programming logs.
Perform light janitorial duties as assigned. Work schedule fluctuates, based on needs of programming and newscasts, but mostly weeknights and weekend newscasts.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record. Must have good eyesight, hearing, clear speech and the ability to work on ladders and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
