Dr. Jeff Wiesman came to Campbellsville University in the fall of 2021 from Houghton College, where he served for 8 years as a professor of education.  Prior to Houghton, he taught high school mathematics for 18 years and served as an adjunct professor at Aurora University and Trinity Christian College.

Dr. Wiesman’s research interests include student motivation, professional dispositions, and kindergarten readiness.  Recent publications include:

Dr. Wiesman has a wonderful wife and daughter, and his family enjoys attending college events and just about any outdoor recreational activity.  They especially like to travel to the mountains of Colorado to hike, bike, kayak, or simply enjoy God’s creation.

When Dr. Wiesman isn’t in class or visiting schools, his office door is open and you are always welcome to stop by and chat about class, a clinical experience, or other things in life!
