Position Description: The Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty offers fall, spring and summer internships to undergraduate and graduate students as well as individuals who have completed a college or seminary degree program.
Interns work alongside legal, communications and development staff members at the BJC's Center for Religious Liberty, which is located two blocks from the U.S. Capitol and adjacent to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Interns perform clerical duties and help provide constituent services. There is also opportunity to explore interests and cultivate skills through writing, editing, conducting research and assisting with coalition work and advocacy outreach.
Interns are provided a monthly stipend and housing on Capitol Hill. The internship selection process is competitive. A demonstrated interest in religious liberty is desirable but not required.
