We are currently applications for the following positions. The positions listed below will teach the
Equivalent of IS credit hours per semester, and be responsible for academic advising, professional growth,
Institutional service and participation in continuing education/community service. Assignment may include

Location- Primary Elizabethtown, KY Main Campus
Assignment full-time 10 month (August-May)
• RN Nursing Instructor- (2 full time positions) for an instructor in the Registered Nursing Program.
Minimum qualification is a Master's degree in Nursing. Also required are current Kentucky licensure
as a registered nurse, or eligibility for RN licensure in Kentucky; and a minimum of two years clinical
experience within the last 5 years.
• PN Nursing Instructor— (1 full time position) for an instructor for the Practical Nursing Program:
The instructor will be responsible for both didactic and clinical instruction. Minimum educational
qualification is a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. A current Kentucky licensure as a registered nurse or
eligibility for RN licensure in Kentucky is also required. A minimum of two years Medical Surgical
and/or OB clinical experience within the last 5 years is desired. (10 month renewable contract).
• Computer Information Technology Instructor - Requires Master's degree in Computer Science or
Computer Information System. Preference will be given to those who are prepared to teach networking,
programming, or web page development.
• Electrical Technology Instructor-Minimum Requirement is an Associate degree plus a minimum of 3
years of related work experience. Bachelor's degree with specialized certification preferred. Position
requires knowledge in AC and DC circuits, single and three phase circuits, motor controls, transformers,
AC and DC motors and generators, PLC's; residential, commercial and industrial wiring, electrical
construction; and the National Electric Code. Journeyman license recommended.
Assignment and primary responsibility in Leitchfield, KY may also teach some classes on-campus, or at other off-campus locations or online. Assignment full-time 10 month (August-May)
• Biology Instructor - MS in Biology required. Responsibilities include teaching introductory biology
classes and anatomy and physiology. Preferences will be given to candidates whose backgrounds and
teaching philosophies support strong two-year Allied Health degrees and enhance an undergraduate
program that gives our students the educational background to be competitive at a national level for
admission into professional programs.
• Business Instructor- Minimum qualification is a Master's degree in Business. Preference will be
given to an individual that can also teach computer information technology.
• English/Developmental Studies - Minimum qualification is a Master's degree in English or Master's
with a minimum of 18 hours in graduate level English.
Online English Instructor- Minimum qualification is a Master's degree in English or Master's with a
minimum of 18 hours in graduate level English.
• Online Communications Instructor - Minimum qualification is a Master's degree with 18 hours in
communications. The candidate should be able to engage students from a variety of backgrounds,
experiences and cultures; bring a strong modeling presence into their classrooms; display deep
understanding and passionate concern for their craft and for their students. The candidate should
demonstrate familiarity with the latest research on interpersonal communications, basic public speaking,
professional presentations, and intercultural communications. Knowledge of mass media and
technology is a plus.
• Online Computer and Information Technology Instructor- Requires Master's degree in Computer
Science or Computer Information System. Preference will be given to those who are prepared to teach
networking, programming, or web page development.
• Online Sociology/Psychology Instructor- Minimum qualification is a Master's degree
in Sociology/Psychology or Master's with a minimum of 18 hours graduate hours in Psychology

Faculty/Project Team Leader Learn on Demand Business Administration Program - ECTC is seeking a
highly motivated, results oriented individual to coordinate the innovative Learn on Demand Program in
Business Administration Systems and to teach courses in Business Administration Systems, Office Systems
Technology and/or Medical Information Technology programs. As the Coordinator of the Learn on Demand
Program, the person hired for this position will be responsible for leading a team of individuals in scheduling
