CU Summer Classes are Underway

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University summer classes are underway, but there is still time to register for one of the three remaining sessions.The June term is June 1-26; June/July term is June 1-July 24; and theJuly term is June 29-July 24.
"Summer classes are a wonderful way to get ahead in your academiccareer, take classes that are affordable and to take classes to help youprogress in your major," said Dave Walters, vice president for admissions and student services.
"Campbellsville University offers a variety of course offerings duringthe summer," said Walters, "and we hope everyone will take advantage ofthe summer sessions."Financial aid is also available for the summer.Some of the classes offered in the summer include: "Understanding Art,"Religion in Life," "Introduction to Communication," "AmericanGovernment," "Environment and Man," "Survey of British Literature 1" andmany others.
General education courses, as well as master classes, are offered.Walters said students wishing to take advantage of summer classes shouldfirst obtain a schedule of classes (which is available on the Web atwww.campbellsville.edu/summer, fill out an application at the Office ofAdmissions, see an academic advisor and then you are ready to registerwhich can be done online to expedite the process.
Classes are offered for undergraduate students at $275 per credit hour.Walters said the master's programs costs are very competitively priced.Call the Office of Admissions for specific program costs. The price ofthe master's classes depends on the specific degree being pursued.A variety of internships are also available, which offers students theopportunity to gain credit hours and valuable experience in businessesand areas related to their major or interest, Walters said.
