*We currently have an excellent opportunity in our Reinsurance Administrative department for a Reinsurance Analyst. The primary responsibility of this associate is to complete all Financial Reporting for the Reinsurance department, including monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting. This associate will analyze the accuracy and efficiency of the Reinsurance departments Financial Reporting. As such, the associate will work closely with the Financial Reporting department to complete these tasks.

*This associate will also work closely with the Reinsurance department to devise correction plans for Life and DI reinsurance administration issues. This will include analyzing and developing the necessary corrections procedures, and the prioritization and assignment of the work associated with the corrections. As such, this person will also work closely with the Life and DI Reinsurance Administrators to ensure timely and accurate corrections. This person will become an expert in the Reinsurance Administration system TAI, and familiar with all team workflows and associated reports. This position reports to the Manager, Reinsurance administration.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

 College degree is required. In some instances, significant work experience may be substituted for degree


 LOMA designation of ARA is required or must be obtained within 1 year of assuming the position.

 Other industry designations are a plus.

 Leadership and analysis experience are beneficial. Incumbent must be able to create and maintain advanced

Excel spreadsheets and Access databases.

 Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed.

 Creativity and originality is needed to identify and correct various problems and efficiencies.

 Organization and prioritizing multiple tasks is critical to meet deadlines. Time management and detail-oriented skills are a must.
