Job Description
Integrates public relations and community outreach with marketing and advertising to ensure consistent messaging and brand adherence in support of market growth and development of Owensboro Health and its affiliates. Responsible for brand development and the implementation of marketing and media relations strategies tactics tailored to key stakeholders, focused on product lines and programs that support the mission and strategic goals. Responsible for large and complex assignments. Resolves complex problems. Typically responsible for project results and completion, mentor to team members. Executes all tasks and behaves in a manner consistent with a culture of safety and a high reliability organization; behavior supports the organization's core commitments of Integrity, Service, Respect, Teamwork, Excellence, and Innovation.

Develops marketing communications for Owensboro Health and its affiliates, including assisting with development of marketing plans that incorporate data analysis, environmental assessment, competitive analysis, etc. to promote and increase volume, monitors results. Monitors output for quality, consistency and relevance in current market conditions. Develops corporate communications systems to inform, educate, support business objectives. Acts as a coach/mentor to co-workers; provides technical guidance. Develops product line driven advertising and PR campaigns, activities and events utilizing demographic market data for targeted populations. Develops original, creative concepts and content for branded collateral. Develops and monitors adherence to corporate brand identity. Develops detailed marketing and communications strategies and methodologies for internal and external audiences (employee, physician, corporate, consumer). Develops marketing content, writing/editing of traditional and new media collateral; coordination of community outreach and promotional events; multi-media advertising. Develops web-based marketing, social media and intranet communications. Oversees video production and editing. Stays abreast of marketing and communications trends and technology; stays current with software and equipment needs. Develops and maintains relationships with vendors and media contacts; provides accurate and appropriate information.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required. A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 6 years progressive experience in a marketing, media and/or public relations required.
