Position Title:  FPP Therapist

Position Description:  Responsible for providing a range of moderately complex clinical services with children, adolescents, and identified adults.

This will be accomplished through the following:

Completes any identified diagnostic assessments, including the North Carolina Assessment Scales (NCFAS).
Develops and implements Service Plan based on assessments.
Provides ongoing mental health/clinical services as needed or are required by contract.
Maintains client documentation in accordance with SAFY policy, KY Cabinet, DCBS, and COA standards.
Provide Intensive Family Preservation Services that are short-term, in-home to families in crisis.
Provide direct services to the identified clients/families for 24 hours/7 days a week coverage.
Maintain accurate and professional documentation in content and appearance as required for each assigned case.
Submit written reports to supervisor and other parties as required timely and accurately regarding progress of each family’s case.
Develops/Maintains consultative and liaison relationships with catchments area caregivers (e.g., schools, human services agencies, etc.) in order to cultivate work relations, provide consultative services and/or promote the coordination and development of mental health services.
Attends in service training as well as seminars, workshops and other educational programs to achieve relevant education hours per year to enhance professional and job related skills.

Educational Requirements:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or child & family studies is required

Licensure Requirements:
LMFT/LPCC/LCSW (may be under supervision) is required

Experience Requirements:
Two years experience in providing treatment to families is required
Experience with family preservation services and best practice In-Home model is preferred.

Skill Set:
Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Demonstrated skill in writing treatment plans, case notes, etc
Operate a computer in regards to Microsoft Office and agency database system
