pastor at First Baptist Church, London.

Taylor had just completed a successful transitional pastorate
at First Baptist Church in Bowling Green when FBC London found they were in
need of a transitional pastor.

Randall Brewer, chairman of the interim pastor committee at
First Baptist Church in London said, “After much thought and prayer, the church
unanimously invited Dr. Taylor to be our transitional pastor. We feel very
confident his leadership abilities and experience will provide a positive and
smooth transition for our church.”

Taylor said, “I am excited to serve with the church staff
and church leadership in moving First Baptist Church London forward during this
transitional period.” During his 40-year career, he has served both full time
and bi-vocationally.

Janette Meyer said, “I am excited for the First Baptist
Church of London to hear that they have called Dr. Ted Taylor to serve as their
transition pastor. My family and I were blessed last year when he served in
that capacity at First Baptist Church, Bowling Green. He brought new life to us
with his rich Biblical sermons and teaching and began a renewal for us which is
now the basis for our new pastor to build upon.”

Campbellsville University president Michael V. Carter said,
“In addition to his years of service as a valued faculty member in the CU
School of Theology, Dr. Ted Taylor is a very gifted pastor and preacher.”

Taylor received his associate of arts degree from Hiwassee
College in Madisonville, Tenn. in 1972; his bachelor of science in business
administration/marketing from the University of Tennessee in 1972; his master
of arts in Christian education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
in Louisville in 1981 and his doctorate in education in 1987 from Memphis State
University in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born in Knoxville, Tenn., and is married to Sheri
Marie Jones Taylor. Their children and grandchildren live in Knoxville —
daughter Ashley and grandchildren Taylor and Carson Jessie; and son, Brannon
and grandchildren Reece, Rylee and Will Taylor.
