Nursing students selling mums
The CU chapter of the Kentucky Association of Nursing Students (KANS) is taking orders to fund raise money for the State KANS Conference. The cost is $9 for a choice of yellow, orange, purple, red (yellow centers) and white (yellow centers). Orders will be ready for pick up on Stapp Lawn Friday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Each mum sits in a 12-inch potting basket with a large spread of blooms. Homecoming is just around the corner!
Homecoming is just around the corner! We are excited about the festivities this year and hope that you are able to participate in some fashion. There are several ways that organizations can play a part this year. Details on Homecoming candidates, parade floats and the club festival are below. Please take time to check out the information below and the attachments provided.
The deadline for submitting a candidate for the Homecoming Queen Competition is Sept. 26, 2014. Clubs or organizations wishing to have a candidate MUST also submit a float for the Homecoming parade. Homecoming Elections will be held Sept. 29-Oct. 3 in the Winters Dining Hall during lunch hours.
Clubs or organizations may request a booth for the Homecoming Festival to Trent Creason, director of student activities and intramural sports, at firstname.lastname@example.org before Oct. 3. Please specify the number of tables and chairs that will be needed for the booth as well as whether access to a power outlet will be necessary. Campbellsville University graduates who are also published authors are invited to be a part of the Homecoming Festival.
There will be a Maroon Goon Homecoming Rally on Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. behind the Student Activities Center.
