Student Health Fair tomorrow

A Student Health Fair will be tomorrow, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Activities Center. Come and explore how stay healthy during college. Lots of free items will be given away; chapel credit is to be given. The event is sponsored by the CU Health/Wellness Committee. A flier is attached.

Homecoming T-shirt orders due Thursday


Homecoming T-shirt orders are due Thursday, Sept. 25. All orders must be placed and paid for by Sept. 25. Shirts will be available by Oct. 6 in Carter Hall 207. All proceeds benefit the Campbellsville University Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Contact Stan McKinney, associate professor of journalism, at (270) 789-5035 with questions. An order form is attached. The theme this year is "Let the Good Times ROAR."

Three career workshops coming up this week!

There are three Office of Career Service Workshops coming up this week. You are invited to each! An "Internship Strategies Workshop" is at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24. "Building Your Network While in College" is from 2 to 2:50 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 and "Social Media and Your Job Search" is from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25. Christina Kern, an alumna who worked in the Office of University Communications, will speak at the last two. A flier is attached.

'Once a Fighting Tiger, Always a Fighting Tiger' Golf Scramble Oct. 11


We will have our Annual “Once a Fighting Tiger Always a Fighting Tiger” Golf Scramble on October 11th at Campbellsville Country Club at 8:00 am est. The cost per player will be $50.00 which will include the 18 hole scramble and lunch. CU will play Georgetown College on Homecoming that day. All proceeds from the day will go directly to the 12th Man Club which is the booster club for the football program. The scramble will be open to all alumni and friends of the program. Our goal this year is to get 12 teams and top last year’s mark of $1000.00 raised. Prizes are listed below. If you would, please help me spread the word and let folks know that if they are not golfers and wish to sponsor a hole or one of the hole prizes that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help and hope to see you there!!

$200.00-2nd Place Team (*If we have 10 or more teams)
$50.00 closest to the pin
$50.00 long drive
