Noon Organ Recital Series is tomorrow

The Noon Organ Recital Series continues on Tuesday with guest organist John Deaver from Covington, Ky., playing on the Farrand and Votey pipe organ in Ransdell Chapel. Program time is 12:20-12:50 p.m. Featured on Deaver's program will be two French works by Jean Langlais and César Franck. The entire university community is invited to attend this free concert.


2012 Presidential Election Forum is Tuesday, Oct. 9

Students, faculty, staff and coaches are invited to Tuesday's 2012 Presidential Election Forum Presented by Campbellsville University's Kentucky Heartland Institute on Public Policy

Trey Grayson, director of the Institute of Politics at Harvard University and previous Kentucky’s Secretary of State.

The event is free and the public is welcome to attend. Chapel credit is given to students.

24-Hour Prayer Tent beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday

The School of Theology is hosting a 24-hour Prayer Tent on Stapp Lawn beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday (10-10-12) to pray for the nations and our campus. Special prayer service in tent at noon. Emailtkhernandez@campbellsville.eduto sign up for a 15-minute time slot anytime on 10-10-12.

She would be leaving Thursday morning, Oct. 18, and returning Sunday afternoon, Oct. 21.

Upsilon Kappa, the CU chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, will meet on Monday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. in Carter Hall 108. This meeting is for all current members and those interested in joining. Membership is for life and costs $40, a one time membership fee. Student membership is available to undergraduates and graduate students. Undergrads must have completed two college English language courses or literature beyond freshman composition requirements. He/she must have a minimum B average in English and overall general scholarship, must rank in the highest 35% of his/her class, and must have completed at least 3 semesters or 5 quarters of college course work. Grad students must be enrolled in an English grad program or one of its specializations, have completed 6 semester hours of grad work, and have a minimum GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. Faculty/administrator membership is open for those with a degree in English. New members are warmly welcomed into this internationally recognized society. Faculty sponsors are Dr. W.R. A black Zune mp3 player was found in AD15 and is in the Office of the President. Please ID and claim in the office in the Administration Building.
