Piano duet tonight

You are invited to hear Dr. Vernon and Nancy Cherrix in a guest piano duet for four hands recital at 8 o'clock tonight in Ransdell Chapel.
They will be playing music by Mozart, Brahms and Rachmaninoff. They having been performing for 30 years.

KHIPP, chapel to feature Dr. Richard Land

Dr. Richard Land, president of Southern Evangelical Seminary based in Charlotte, N.C., will speak at the upcoming Kentucky Heartland Institute on Public Policy (KHIPP) event “Primary Public Policy Facing the United States in 2013 and Beyond” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 in the Banquet Hall of the Badgett Academic Support Center. Land will also be giving a presentation at chapel Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. in the Ransdell Chapel. Everyone is invited to both events.

-Next week October 14th Campus wide Capture the Flag. Those interested in playing meet on Stapp lawn at 8 pm.

SGA shutting down

Jacqueline Nelson, SGA president, has made this announcement. "In order to raise awareness for being active in politics and "staying in the know," the SGA will be shutting down. The shut down will last this week only, mirroring the federal government shutdown. Fear not, we will be back on Monday."
