Official Operation Christmas Child Boxes more than last year at 7,743

The official total of shoebox gifts for the Taylor County Relay Center was 7,743 (7,647 was our total from last year).  The Heart of KY Area total is 35,575 (last year’s total was 31,420).   Thanks to everyone who prayed for this awesome ministry and please continue to pray as the boxes are in route to Boone, NC and beyond.  Our area shoeboxes will go to children of Botswana, South Sudan, Rwanda, Ukraine and Colombia.

A BIG thank you to all who participated by filling a shoebox, loading or unloading a truck or helping in any way with Operation Christmas Child.  We are so thankful for all of the wonderful volunteers (138) that helped us out at the Taylor County Relay Center during collection week.  We had CU students, community/church/youth volunteers and even some volunteers from out of town.

How wonderful it is to see how everyone in the community comes together for OCC.  We are blessed!
