7:00 p.m. – School of Music Hooding in The Gheens Recital Hall
Friday, May 13, 2016
1:30 p.m. – School of Education Pinning Ceremony – Campbellsville Baptist Church                                   
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Carver School of Social Work Pinning Ceremony – The Gheens Recital Hall
3:30 p.m. – Undergraduate Practice both ceremonies – JK Powell Gymnasium

4:00 p.m. — School of Theology Hooding and Pinning — Dave Fryrear Pavilion, Finley Stadium
4:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. - Graduates Dinner – Winters Dining Hall
6:30 p.m. – Master’s walk starting in Davenport Student Commons (This will be canceled if it rains).
7:00 p.m. – Master’s Commencement begins – Ransdell Chapel

8:30 a.m. – Senior walk begins in front of Montgomery Library (This will be cancelled if it rains).
9:00 a.m. – #1 Commencement Ceremony begins at J.K. Powell Gymnasium
10:30 a.m. – Ceremony ends
10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Come and Go Lunch for all CU Faculty, Staff and Coaches who are working Commencement Ceremonies. (Brass Ensemble and WLCU Employees invited as well) in JK Powell Room 201.  
11:30 a.m. – Senior walk begins in front of Montgomery Library (This will be canceled if it rains).
12:00 p.m. - #2 Commencement Ceremony Begins at J.K Powell Gymnasium
1:30 p.m. – Ceremony ends

Stress Relievers for Finals Week

Finals Week is next week, and there are several stress relievers in which you can participate. Here’s a list:

Monday: Pet the Puppies 11-1 pm on Library Lawn
Tuesday: Free Massage 11-1 in Commons area; Free Movie Night at Green River Cinema 6 (must have CU ID)
Wednesday: Revenge Dunk Booth 11-1 pm near the Dining Hall

Class Project: Advanced Public Relations Student Survey

Colonel William Ritter's MAC 461, Advanced Public Relations class is completing a communication plan project in conjunction with the Army's recruiting command at Fort Knox, KY. CU students are asked to take a brief 10-question multiple choice survey to support the research the class is gathering to support their communication plan. Ritter's class will present their ideas to officials at Fort Knox on Thursday, May 12 during their final exam period.

Adobe After Effects workshop today

Adobe student reps, Elvis-Obukowho Ufuoma and Evan Magruder will be hosting an Adobe workshop Today, Thursday, May 5th, 2016 at 6pm in the TTC/Tech/IT Building. The workshop will be on the basics of Hollywood Visual Effects with Adobe After Effects and there will be giveaways as well. Before coming, download adobe after effects free at: and bring your laptop along.
