Support Art & Design Club tonight at Chick-fil-A Express

Support the Art & Design Club this Wednesday, March 2 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Chick-fil-A Express for Spirit Night.

Proceeds from cash and credit sales help to fund their trip to Washington, D.C. in May.  The students are eager to see a variety of artwork in the Smithsonian Collections.  

Take a copy of the  with you! (Because of their policy changes, credit will only be given with a flyer.)

Republican Debate watch party

Mary-Kate Shelby, president of the College Republican Club on campus, invites everyone to view the Republican debate Thursday, March 3 at 9 p.m. in the Banquet Hall in the Badgett Academic Support Center. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Movie ‘CAKE,’ film on chronic pain and suicide, will be shown

The movie “CAKE” will be shown in the Banquet Hall on Friday evening at 8 p.m. This is a contemporary film in which Jennifer Aniston portrays a character fascinated by the suicide of a woman in her chronic pain support group while grappling with her own, very raw personal tragedy. Dr. Darlene Eastridge, a licensed clinical social worker who serves as dean of the , will be presenting the film. For those wishing to hang out after the film Dr. Eastridge will be hosting a discussion about chronic pain syndrome and the abuses of narcotic medications.

Volleyball League for students grades K-6

For the first time, Campbellsville University is starting a youth volleyball league for kids, grades K-6!!  The league will begin on April 11th and run through May 11th.  Participants will receive instruction from CU’s volleyball players, and get to meet/interact with coaches and staff!!

Serco/Intelenet (a call center in Campbellsville KY) has started a part-time shift—that might work well for students needing consistent part-time employment.  Details are below. Training for next hiring begins March 7 or 21st.
