Congratulations to technology fast winners
Congratulations to those who were able to part with their devices for our technology fast today at lunch.
Nine students of the nearly 580 students who were in Winters Dining Hall between 11:30 and 1 p.m. elected to give their devices up. Most students reported feeling like a piece of them was missing during the technology fast.
In an effort to lead by example, eight of 35 faculty and staff members gave up their devices during lunch. Faculty and staff generally reported a much more positive feeling at the end of the technology fast.
Random.org was used to randomly select gift card winners from the participants. Shelby Knuckles is the student winner and Ashley Abner is the faculty/staff winner.
Please take time to look over the attachment
if you’re interested in learning more about what we sacrifice on a daily basis to technology.
