Presentation on game design is tomorrow
The Art & Design department would like to invite you to a presentation on game design.
Mr. Devin Morse will give his presentation at 2:00 on Thursday (tomorrow) the 26th in the Art & Design Department.
Devin Morse is an independent game developer. He earned his BFA in Game Design at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. He studied under various game developers such as David Goodwine, Casey Holtz, and Steven Goodale. Mr. Goodwine’s credits include “The Mexican” starring Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts and The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King PC Game. Mr. Goodale has worked on several 3DO games such as Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes. Mr. Holtz has worked on various Tomb Raider games and is a lead designer on an independent game called Jump Tanks.
Devin Morse is currently working with Casey Holtz as an Animator for Jump Tanks. In addition, Devin is the lead developer for two independent games currently in development: “The Initiative” for PC and “DAM! The Official Anti-Beaver Game” for mobile. Devin has also created a short online game, “Steel Rain”, that can be played on Newgrounds.com.
All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to join us. If you are interested in game design and how the industry develops game art, this is your opportunity.
'39 Steps' opens tomorrow
The Alfred Hitchcock mystery, comedy, "The 39 Steps," opens tomorrow night! You don't want to miss this hilarious production. Make reservations by calling 789-5266. Tickets will also be sold online or at the door while supplies last. CU students will be admitted free of charge but are encouraged to make a reservation.
