My name is Sgt. Dallas Robinson. I was recently hired as part-time track assistant at Campbellsville and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of such an amazing University! I coach primarily sprints, hurdles and relays. This year will be my 8th season as a Track Coach since graduating from Eastern Kentucky University where I competed as a sprinter. Prior to coming to Campbellsville I coached at Berea College, Georgetown College and Lexington Christian Academy.

Upon graduation from EKU I had the dream of becoming a team USA athlete. It took a few years for that goal to come to fruition but alas in 2008 it did. That year I ran the fastest 55m-60m dash in the United States during the indoor season. During the summer of 2008, because of my athletic back-round and success that past winter, I was recruited and named to Team USA Rugby.

It's now 2014 and I am happy to say I was honored to be the sole Olympian to represent the state of Kentucky in the 2014 Sochi Russia Olympics this past winter in both 2man and 4man Bobsled. I knew from early on God had placed a desire in my heart to continue to compete, coach and mentor kids for a reason. The reason was simple; to Glorify him through the talents and experiences I was given. Through all of this I have gotten to do everything and more than I have ever dreamt possible and I can assure you that our God is BIG! He has big plans for all of us and it takes searching your heart and following his will to reach those heights. I promise when you do reach those heights the view is remarkable and knowing just a mustard seed of faith got you their even more so. I am so excited to be with each of you and help you in your journey!

I live here locally and own a farm just outside of town. I also work full time as the Kentucky National Guard Career & Scholarships NCO here at the Campbellsville Armory. I joined the Kentucky National Guard four years ago and I can say that it's one of the best decisions I ever made. I absolutely love serving our Community, State and Country through the Guard. It was amazing being one of six soldiers in the Olympics and being some of the only US Military allowed in Russia! I joined for those reasons alone, to serve, protect and be a part of something bigger than myself. In that regard my title is "Soldier- Olympian". I must say...that's a pretty cool title and I am proud to carry the rest of my life. What I have found out after I being in the Guard for a few years is that it has so many other BENEFITS! I was unaware of most of these when I joined. Did you know the KY Guard has 7,300 soldiers? Or that we have 150 different jobs? We have pilots, mechanics, nurses, doctors, chaplains and attorneys to name a few. Of our 7,300 soldiers less than 1% are overseas deployed. Did you know the Guard was established in 1636? 140 years before we became a nation! Do you know how much money the Guard gives for school? Or that it's significantly more money than any other branch of service? I'll list the Educational Benefits below and if you have questions call me, email me , find me on campus or swing by my armory. I pray each of you have a Merry CHRISTmas and I can't wait to get to know you when we all return next semester.
