Be sure to visit Alumni & Friends Park tonight
Cardboard Nation, an event to draw attention to the homeless, is tonight at Alumni & Friends Park. It starts at 6 p.m. and runs throughout the night until 8 a.m. There will be a soup line provided for the meal, there will also be certain agencies from the community at the event to tell those who attend about what they do for people that need their assistants. We will be sleeping in cardboard boxes all night. We are taking donations for Green River Ministries in the event; this is how the people participating will get their boxes by donating a certain amount of money. Chapel credit is offered. Come join us and experience homelessness for one night! There will be live music, activities and fellowship. We look forward to seeing y’all!
