Variety Show is Saturday

Abbey Caudell’s FIRST CLASS is hosting a variety show Saturday and wanted to know if you would send out a campus email tomorrow for an advertisement! Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel, there will be a Variety Show presented benefiting Green River Ministries! Admission is $3 at the door. All proceeds will go to benefit GRM. You will hear everything from Josh Turner to Katy Perry and YOU will decide the ultimate winner for the evening!

Theater presenting ‘Salute to Standards’ this weekend

The theater is presenting "Salute To Standards" this weekend. This one hour nostalgic show celebrates the great music of the 1930s-1970s, including music by Elvis, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, The Supremes, Cole Porter and many more! The show is this Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. April 11th and 12th. Tickets are $5 for general admission, $2 for CU Faculty/Staff and free for CU students. Come out for a fun night of music!

Anxiety Workshop is April 15

Anxiety is a part of life. Everyone feels anxiety at one time or another. The important matter is how we deal with it. Ray Hollenbach examines the sources of and the responses to anxiety. He will lead a workshop on anxiety Tuesday, April 15 from 2 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. in the Banquet Hall. The event is part of the academic success series of workshops. Attached is a flier.

Annual Heart Walk is April 16

The Annual Heart Walk hosted by Taylor County Bank is from 10 a.m. until noon April 16 at the Miller Park Walking Track. The first 50 participants will receive a free goody bag filled with various items including coupons, water bottles, Heart Walk lapel pin and more. The walk is with the American Heart Association. A flier is attached.

Pearl earring found
