TIGER SOCCER ADDS THREE RECRUITS TO 2007 FRESHMAN CLASS
Campbellsville, Kentucky – Campbellsville University Men’s Soccer Coach Adam Preston has announced the addition of three players to the 2007 freshman class, all from the Western Kentucky area.
Seth Asher, a 5’10”forward from Calloway County High School scored 31 goals and had 25 assists in 34 games during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. He was the captain of the Calloway County team in 2006 and was first team all-district in 2006 and second team all region in 2005 and 2006.
“Seth is going to make a real difference in our team next season,” said Preston. “He is a quality forward with good speed and is a great finisher,” he concluded.
Evan Pierce is a 5’11” defender from Calloway County. “Evan will be a solid contributor to our defense next season,” commented Preston. “He has good playing experience and will help solidify a defense that is losing two senior starters to graduation,” added Preston.
Bryan Walton is a 5’9” mid-fielder from Marshall County High School. “Bryan has the potential to earn playing time next season,” said Preston. “If he works hard this season it is possible he can earn some time in the midfield,” concluded Preston.
