To help speed up the admissions process this spring, Campbellsville University has introduced an accelerated enrollment schedule for incoming students. Instead of the typical semester model — where students only have one window to apply for courses — the new schedule accepts students every eight weeks. For example, our 2015 spring semester had start dates of January 12th and March 16th, giving students a second opportunity to enroll in a post-secondary program.
In total, there are now five start dates for Campbellsville students during a given year — two in the spring, two in the fall, and a full summer school session. This convenient schedule applies to incoming freshmen and transfer students. Each bi-term qualifies for the same amount of semester credit hours, so it does not make a difference if you begin a course in the first or second bi-term. Classes for the 2016 spring term begin on January 19th.
No matter which pathway you choose to reach your academic goals, Campbellsville University is a first-rate option for continued studies. We are also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), which recognizes distinguished schools in Kentucky.
