Account Executive – Consumer & Lifestyle Brands

Litzky Public Relations, a boutique agency on the Hoboken waterfront, has an immediate need for an Account Executive. LPR is a close knit team of 20 hardworking, loyal, and fun individuals known for our results-focused approach and exceptional client services.  The Account Executive position provides a wonderful opportunity for hands on experience in all facets of the business. As a small agency with big clients, each of our employees is required to wear many hats, from packing boxes and creating clip reports to planning events and managing clients.

We’re looking for a dedicated, team player with at least four years of experience. Ideal candidate is organized, a quick learner, and imaginative thinker. If you’re a proactive individual who enjoys working independently but values a team environment, this position is for you.


  • Client relations and management
  • Proactive media relations – pitching traditional  media and bloggers, developing relationships and uncovering new outlets
  • Manage specific consumer product brands reporting directly to the account supervisor overseeing the business
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop PR strategies
  • Manage timelines and budgets
  • Creative thinking – brainstorming unique news hooks and PR campaigns
  • Special events – planning, pitching, onsite support, etc.
  • Stay current with new media trends and incorporate as appropriate
  • Draft press materials (pitch letters, advisories, releases, etc.)
  • Create and update media lists
  • Liaise with internal Creative Department
  • Manage the media mailer process from start to finish
  • Clip media placements and create client reports
  • Manage social media site for consumer product brand
  • Identify and research new opportunities for clients and the agency
