Featured Speaker: Dr. Frank S. Page has been president and chief executive officer of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee since October 1, 2010. He was president of the Southern Baptist Convention from 2006-2008. Prior to moving to Nashville, Dr. Page served as Vice President for the Evangelization Group at the North American Mission Board (NAMB), Alpharetta, Georgia. He has also served as pastor for Taylors First Baptist Church, Taylors, South Carolina, and churches in Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina for the past 34 years. In Dr. Page’s last two churches, he was able to lead those churches to transformation and growth. Both Warren Baptist Church and Taylor's First Baptist Church more than doubled in size and began missions and ministries which truly impacted the region and beyond. Dr. Page has also been an interim pastor at two churches since his taking the position in Nashville -- First Baptist Church, North Augusta, South Carolina, and First Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Page loves churches and loves to help churches regain a God sized vision. Dr. Page was born in North Carolina and educated at Gardner Webb University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He is recipient of the Bachelor of Science degree with honors as well as the Master of Divinity and Ph.D. degrees. He is an author and has traveled extensively and spoken on every continent. Dr. Page is married to the former Dayle Gibson of Huntersville, North Carolina. They have three beautiful daughters and are also blessed to have three grandsons.
