Margery Henderson is honored at art gallery

Margery Mathis Henderson, second from left, recently held an art exhibit at Campbellsville University of African artifacts gathered when she and her husband, the late Glenn Henderson, were missionaries. Henderson, who lives in Burkesville, Ky., is shown with, from left, John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president at Campbellsville University, who is a native of Cumberland County; Henderson; Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University; Carter’s wife, Debbie, and Sue Stivers, a graduate of CU, friend of Henderson and director of the Columbia/Adair County Economic Development Authority.
