CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. –Homecoming is a time of year centered on reunion. This year the class of 1964 will be honored for their 50th reunion and will be inducted into the Golden Heritage Club.

Clarence G. "Squeak" Collins, 1964 class president, will be attending the reunion, along with the class treasurer and former homecoming candidate, Phala Devore Blaydes.

Paula Smith, director of alumni relations said, “Some of these folks have not seen each other since they left in 1964.”

Because CU recognizes that the opportunity to see old classmates is often a rare one attendees of the reunion will have an opportunity to spend the afternoon together. A location has been reserved for them to visit.

The reunion will begin with a meet-and-greet at 9 a.m. in the basement of the Badgett Academic Support Center. Following the meet-and-greet there will be a special ceremony. Each attendee will wear a gown and will be given a stole that reads “Class of 64” along with a lapel pin. Lunch will follow at the President’s house.

This year is the anniversary year for the class of 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009. Tents will be reserved for classmates to mingle. If you want a specific area, please contact Paula Smith at 270-789-5216 or email pjsmith@campbellsville.edu.
