CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Eric Gilbert, senior pastor of 3trees Church, will speak at Campbellsville University’s chapel service on Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. The service will be in the Ransdell Chapel located at 401 North Hoskins Ave.

In 2000, Gilbert, as part of a six-person team, founded 3trees Church in a converted truck stop restaurant in Russell Springs, Ky. that has since grown to include three regional locations in Campbellsville, Columbia and Russell Springs, all in Kentucky.

“Greater things are yet to come” is the adopted motto of Gilbert and 3trees Church.

In order to fulfill the “clear directive from heaven” to transition from a “Come and See” church to a “Go and Tell” ministry, Gilbert and his team at 3trees began attending the CAPTIVATE events in 2006. As a result, they now host at least four CAPTIVATE events a year to minister to thousands of people.

Gilbert serves on the Oral Roberts University Ministerial Council, Serving Paraguay Board of Directors and is a board member for the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, Ky.

Gilbert graduated from Russell County High School and attended Campbellsville University. Gilbert is the son of Donnie and Sharon Gilbert.

He is married to Amanda Gossage Gilbert, and they have two children, Dawson and Natalie.

All chapels are open to the public free of charge and are televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 23.0) and are streamed live on the internet at wlcutv.com.
